Madison Hunker, DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Born and raised in Georgia, Dr. Madison Hunker developed a deep love for animals and the outdoors from an early age. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology from the University of West Florida, where her passion for wildlife and conservation grew into a broader interest in animal health and welfare. This led her to earn her veterinary degree from Midwestern University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where she cultivated a strong foundation in mixed general practice.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Hunker is a musician and outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys playing violin and guitar, singing, hiking, swimming, camping, paddle-boarding, and scuba diving. At home, she shares her life with Winter (a spirited Border Collie), Ghost (a curious Bengal mix), and Milo (a mellow Super Spark Banana Ball Python).
Dr. Hunker is continually inspired by the connections she forms with animals and their owners and strives to be a compassionate, skilled, and forward-thinking veterinarian who makes a positive impact on both individual lives and the community as a whole through preventative medicine and innovative treatment approaches. She brings a diverse range of experience to her practice, having treated species ranging from exotic animals—including stingrays, sea lions, beluga whales, African lions, and elephants—to more familiar companions like dogs, cats, horses, cattle, goats, and chickens.
She looks forward to meeting you and your animal companion—large or small!
